Workshop 02 - Max5 patches including Kinect example

mxr-workshop-02-files.zip (95 KB)

Here it is. Simply download the .zip file and unpack it wherever you want. All dependencies are included. The Kinect example is using the external by Jean-Marc Pelletier , available at http://jmpelletier.com/freenect/. The Kinect rendering patch is by me, but I didn't have time to lay it out like the other workshop files. Nevertheless, it should be clear enough. Have fun !

Workshop Session 02

It's been a while since the last workshop; almost a year has gone by ! For this second session, we'll reuse the same material we used in the first session (available here ) and we'll add stuff on top of it. In fact we'll go as far as interfacing the Kinect sensor (max patches provided). For now, here are some links you can explore :

What? CART is now on Posterous. It was not already? I own.

I'm just a bit surprised that no one from Computation Arts (Concordia) already took this posterous name. Well, I'll use it to post details about the workshops I'll be teaching during the next months . This will make it easier for students and friends to get access to the links, samples, content and files needed for the workshops. No need to maintain a mailing list, as they'll come to this page (or get RSS from this page) to get the info they need. I'll open-source all the code and content that will be produced for the workshops, so this will also make eveything easier on everybody. (Note that 'open-source' does not mean without license, so they're will be some Creative Commons licencing on the stuff we put on here). Be ready for some action !
